Manpower recently published its quarterly Employment Outlook Survey, with its results revealing a positive hiring growth for the upcoming quarter. The survey covers more than 18,000 U.S. employers across 13 industries, and measures employers’ intentions to increase or decrease the number of employees in their workforce during the following quarter.
The results bring especially good news for the San Diego job market. San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos employers are expected to hire at a strong pace from July to September, with 19% of the companies interviewed planning to hire more employees. For those looking for a new job or career change, prospects appear best in Durable Goods Manufacturing, Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing, Transportation & Utilities, Wholesale & Retail Trade, Professional & Business Services, Education & Health Services, and Leisure & Hospitality.
